Nichimo's history dates back to 1910 when Takatsu Shoten, our predecessor, was inaugurated and they introduced trawling technologies from the UK.
Ever since, Nichimo has been contributing to modernizing and enhancing efficiency of the fishing industry in Japan by conducting R&D, manufacture and sale of fishing nets and gear, sale of ship supplies and equipment, and other activities.
Nichimo later expanded its business as a "food-related trading company" that comprehensively provides a range of goods from marine products to processed foods and food processing machinery.
In recent years, Nichimo has further expanded product lineups to include functional and environment-friendly construction and packaging materials, rice and agricultural products, and fermented soybean products that are receiving considerable attention in the fields of preventative medicine and health food.
In this manner, Nichimo accommodates the needs of the times and customers with its advanced technologies and broad knowledge.
